Project Tracker
Tasks, owners, deadlines and a Gantt view in one workbook.
Track a project from a single sheet: task list with owner, status, priority, dates and progress, plus a conditional-formatting Gantt chart that draws itself from the start and end dates. Overdue tasks turn red automatically.

Common problems and fixes
Gantt bars do not appear.
The project start date does not overlap the timeline header. Set it to the earliest task start and the grid realigns.
Every task shows as overdue.
The date column is text, so comparisons against TODAY() fail. Run the Date Formatter on it.
Frequently asked questions
What people say
Exactly what I needed. Project Tracker used to be a twenty-minute job with a macro I did not trust; now it takes one drag and one click.
The preview before committing is the part that sold me — I could see exactly what project tracker was going to change before it changed anything.
Small thing, but the error messages actually tell you what to fix. Project Tracker flagged a hidden character that had been breaking my lookups for weeks.
