Common problems and fixes
Net pay is negative.
The deduction rules exceed gross pay — usually a rate entered as 30 instead of 0.30. Check the rate cells at the top of the rules sheet.
Overtime is not calculated.
The threshold hours cell is blank, so nothing counts as overtime. Set it to your standard week length.
