Excel Password Remover
Remove sheet protection from workbooks you own.
Strips worksheet and workbook-structure protection from an .xlsx file so you can edit it again. Everything runs locally in your browser, and the tool works only on protection metadata — encrypted files cannot be and are not opened.

Common problems and fixes
The tool reports no protection found.
The file is encrypted rather than sheet-protected, or the restriction comes from Information Rights Management. Neither can be removed here.
The file still opens read-only.
That is a file-system or “recommend read-only” flag, not sheet protection. Clear it via Save As in Excel.
